The Star of David (Magen David) is the most widely recognized symbol of Jewish identity today, and it sits at the center of the Israeli flag. Its six points and interlocking triangles have been used in Jewish contexts since the Middle Ages, and it became a broadly adopted emblem of Judaism and Jewish peoplehood in the modern era. It felt like the design I had to make first.
