Meet the maker

I make these earrings because I love being Jewish — out loud, in color. The holidays, the symbols, the food on the table, the land of Israel: these are not just traditions to me. They are the things I love most, and I wanted a way to wear that love every day.

Everything in this shop starts with that feeling. The Star of David felt like the design I had to make first. The hamsa, the pomegranate, the map of Israel — each one carries so much history in such a small shape, and shaping them by hand, in clay and color, is my way of holding on to them.

Every pair is made by me, in small batches. Clay is conditioned, colored, rolled and cut, then baked and finished one pair at a time — so no two are exactly alike, and that is the point. A person made this, for a person who cares what it means.

If a design makes someone smile at a Shabbat table, or feel a little closer to Israel from far away, that is why I make them.

Each design starts as raw polymer clay — conditioned, colored, rolled and cut, then baked, sanded and assembled with jewelry hardware. It’s slow work, which is why designs arrive in small drops rather than endless stock.
